Question by Jeff G: Will my aquarium light penetrate through acrylic glass?
The cover for my aquarium is a sheet of acrylic glass (a.k.a. plexi glass). I’m just going to place my light-colored right on top of the glass. Will that absorb too much of the light my live set need or will it be alright?

It will get hotter than usual and the plants will absorb as much as they need but don’t leave light on more than 12 hours a day

i put my flowerhorn who has hole in the head disease in a 10 gallon tank redress, i put medicine in the aquarium pharmaceutical(general cure) sold in store and i followed the direction and now my fish is the same and it dont eat it been almost 5 days before the first treatment. what should i do now, should i rise the temperature or change the irrigatedi bought the aquarium pharmaceutical, it got metro in there

ok,get metronidazole from Local fish store.dose accordingingly and perform daily water change for 5days.remember to increase the temperature to about 88.

Question by : How to clean aquarium equipment?
Well, in my 20 gallon freshwater aquarium I realized this morning that I have a slight case of brown algae, diatoms right? I have had had this aquarium since late March and cycled it with fish. The brown algae is only on the very top of this large decoration I have, and on the top of this smaller decoration. I have some cleaning equipment, but it’s been sitting out for a while and I would like to clean it before I use it on the decorations. So, how do I clean these things without endangering my fish? Thanks in advance!Also, I use Aqueon Filter Cartridges, are they reusable? If so, how do I rinse them?
