Question by Janey: aquarium filter?
I bought an aqua-tech aquarium filter 30-60 but it did not come with insturctions so I dont know how to set it up. When I assayed to set it up I plugged it in and it makes a loud noise.

fill the water pump/filter resevoirs with water….before you turn it on.. it’s called “priming” the pump. Otherwise the pump will just make noise and no water will flow.

You have to add water to the top and then get it to suck up out of the tank. It will ruin it if you run it dry.

add enough water to fill the filter and then plug it in.. it will sound bad for less then a minute then it will start
well it’s very simple… all you need to do is add a little bit of water. about one cup! alot of people say to fill it up all the way but then your filter will not be working as hard so just add a cup of water and if the water doesnt fill up then add another cup! this is the best way! also dont forget to change your cartridge at least once a month!
