Aquarium supplies website?

I am looking for a US based aquarium supplies website. I am Irish I’m really starting to feel the pinch of the credit crunch. I however don’t want to have to give up my hobby due to the greediness of many Irish pet shops, they are robbing me blind at the moment. I know from doing a little research that US prices are way more reasonable even with shipping costs. So any site that ships to Ireland and has a good selection.

aquascapeonline.com sells fish and some supplies

Our favorite is Drs Foster and Smith – price and product line are both great for us. Check it out.

Do you need non-living equipment, or were you trying to buy live fish, etc.? Fresh or salt?

It appears Dr. Foster and Smith does not ship outside of the US. Petsmart.com only ships to US and Canada.
I took Petco for a test run (petco.com). Fill up your shopping cart and you hit "international checkout" instead of the larger check out button. It takes if through ishop-america.com. It does convert to the Irish punt and ship to Ireland. However, the price doubled after I included the shipping estimate.
https://cheappetproducts.net I’ve never tried this one but it says it ships to Ireland.
Here’s a privately owned store that I frequent. I bet you could convince them to ship to Ireland if you sent them an e-mail. http://www.inlandaquatics.com/prod/shipping.html They’ll probably ask that you pay them first–you can do it safely through PayPal. They probably won’t want to ship you live fish, but for dry equipment it should be no problem. They’re also more likely to say yes if you calculate international shipping costs for them.
It’s slim pickings when it comes to stores that ship outside US and Canada!
Have you tried suppliers in the UK and Italy? Germany? Australia?
    Good luck to you!
