What do i need to start an aquarium with live sand/rock all the supplies please?

saltwater and is marineland bio-wheel empeor useless in saltwater if so recomend some?

If your gonna start a saltwater aquarium, first thing is to decide if its gonna be either a Reef tank or a FOWLR (Fish Only With Live Rock) , if you go with the FOWLR , which is what i think you are thinking, Heres what you will need:
A Tank, 10 gallons or more as in saltwater if somthing happens , it happens fast and the fish suffer as they are 10x times more sensitive than Freshwater fish.
Live rock, 1lb per gallon.
Live Sand, as much as you like.
A Protein Skimmer, depends on how many gallons your tank is, its recommended for the skimmer to be 2x times the capaciy of your tank.
And Light, if its a reef, a good rule is 5 watts per gallon, if its a FOWLR, then only enought light to see your fish, live rock doesn’t need much light, unless you want good coraline algea.
Marine salt, only use salt from the pet store, it must be salt produced for Saltwater aquariums.

DO NOT use a filter in a saltwater tank, the live rock +live sand + Protein skimmer is your filtration, a filter with this will starve the bacteria in the live rock.

After all this, is within you, setup the tank, fill the tank with saltwater, place the live rock and sand in the tank, place the skimmer, and let everything running, wich is the tank with the live rock and sand and the skimmer, for 1 month at least, this will give the tank time to cycle, for the bacteria to reproduce in the live rock and sand surfaces. After all this is done you can add the lighting and a clean up crew, to eat the algea that grew during the cycle of the tank, this con sists of hermit crabs, and snails. let it run Again for 2 weeks and then you can finally add fish.
Remember to change 20% of the water each every two weeks, and feed the fish twice a day.

I have no idea where you would find live sand or rocks!
I’ll keep a watch on this question because I am curious what the other answers will be.
