You should leave the filter on because it will help to circulate the water and oxygenate the water. If for some reason it isn’t on for a little while the tank will be fine though – hope that helps

  2. boomminimanboom says:

    how much?

  3. WebkinzWorldChannel says:

    At petco, it’s around 159$

  4. TraxForYou says:

This may seem like a really stupid question, but ca you turn off the filter/light at night??

  5. Seahorse402 says:

You should definitely turn the light off at night but you should leave the filter on. There is a light switch that you can switch the light off or on easily.

  6. TraxForYou says:

Thanks for the reply :) .
Is it very loud (the filter)?

  7. xVi3TxWeEdx says:

I have one of these and the filter is really quiet. You can hardly hear it even at night.

Does this have sort of the same technology as say the jellyfish desktop tank? Where the bubbles have the power to make the clockwise circular water flow so I could possibly keep a jellyfish in one? (Not the baby biorb)

  13. TheLightbulbFactory says:

lol the jellyfish in those desktop tanks are fake

  14. SuperSiera117 says:

  17. freddyglovebuilder says:

is the filter in the middle?

  18. xxcreekqt17xx says:

how do u change the water on the biorbe

  19. FISHFRIEND27 says:

Is that with all the stuff that comes with it?

  20. Seahorse402 says:

It doesn’t come with the gold pebbles and the grass ring decoration but it does come with the light, filter, air pump, ceramic media

  21. Seahorse402 says:

the best way is to get a biorb siphon hose and then do a partial water change taking out about 20% of the water while siphoning the bottom of the aquarium and then replacing the water with fresh water treated with a water conditioner

  22. Seahorse402 says:

yeah the filter is in the middle at the bottom of the tank, it is attached to the bubble tube

  23. CamCool10 says:

Hi, I have a Baby BiOrb. It has that grass ring in the middle. The filter, heater light, air pump and filter media. I don’t have thoes Gold Pebbles. I’m thinking of buying them, maybe two different colours. If I add two packs it will fill up all the bottom? If it fills up all the bottom of the tank, could I add 2 or 3 corydora’s with my betta. The filter media at the bottom is sharp and if you add the gold rocks could I add some small catfish like oto’s or corydora’s?

    Thanks!

  24. Seahorse402 says:

technically with the feng shui pebbles you could add corydoras because the pebbles are smooth, however, cory’s feed off the bottom and since the pebbles are large pieces of food will fall through the cracks between the pebbles which will make it hard for your cory’s to find food.

If you decide to get cory’s I would recommend getting tablet food for bottom feeders because that will be big enough that it probably won’t fall between the cracks and they will be able to get it easily to eat it

  25. CamCool10 says:

@Seahorse402 Thank you :) . I have just got a pair. I don’t have the golden pebbles. But they are fine. I just fed them. They are eating the tablet foods they seem to be fine :) They are active. Do you think it is worth adding the stones? I’m upgrading to a 10 gallon tank soon… Not a biOrb its just a normal 10 gallon tank filter, heater, pump e.t.c I got them these mini algae tablets.
