  2. NILEMONITORMAN14 says:

  3. einzigal says:

So the heater is buried in the substrate?

  4. NILEMONITORMAN14 says:

yea but the heat will still be some what the same

  5. einzigal says:

  7. NILEMONITORMAN14 says:

    no problem :)

  8. kumarsa108 says:

No its not ok to bury a heater, it should have water flow all around it. if you see it was not buried, it was just above the sand/gravel substrate.

  9. einzigal says:

Well, thanks, that makes more sense and is what I had understood to be the case in the past.

i had a problem of mentaining my tank clean. those dirt on the tank bed was hard to clean up. my filtration only suck the dirt on the water not on the tank bed.

what are thoes fish called that are long with the black stripe and the white tips on the end ????

  12. justaukman says:

@reptileboy9111 aqua one cf-1200 external canister filter ….

  13. justaukman says:

@razzp25 depends on the filter pump you buy , you can buy some filter pumps that come with bubble bars that add oxygen but really filters are just to keep the water circulated and clean . the aqua one cf-1200 does both jobs on my aquarium .

  16. irbenson says:

the MAIN thing to keeping your fish alive is to cycle your tank. it is 100% necessary and probably the most avoided thing. there are tons of guide on google if you want to know more, try searching “how to cycle a fish tank” or something similar

good luck to new fish keepers :D

Substrates are very cloudy at the begining. I use mechanical fine floss wool fiber in a canister filter for 24 hour and your water will be clear.
