Is there anything you have to do to it to make it hamster friendly? Also, if you have any pics to show me of a good size black bear hamster aquarium/cage that would defiantly win best answer!
OK, I know about the ventilation thing that’s why I’m asking! Do you poke holes in it lol or what? I know you can use them I just don’t know how to make sure it is a nice, safe cage for my hamster.

When I go the the aquarium, I always wonder if the fish can see me (or the other people) looking at them.
I don’t mean from the open top of a small aquarium… I mean through the extremely thick glass of a public aquarium. We can see the fish, but I didn’t think they could see us because of the way the water affects the refraction of light… or something like that.
Yes I’ve been to an aquarium, it’s not a stupid question. Again, I’m talking about looking through the VERY thick glass wall… not through the open water, or a small inhome aquarium.
Is it possible for aquarium bulbs 2 cause a fishs color to fade?
I put a Aqua Glo bulb (15 watt) in my aquarium of guppies, neon tetras, etc…I had it on last night & noticed that the fish didn’t seem to be as bright in color as they used to. Could they be fading? The water was a little cloudy because I’d just put in some waste control & it says it can fog the water for a bit. So could that be it or maybe my eyes playing tricks on me? Thanks!

I’m doing a project on public aquariums and I want to know how much it costs to run one. Month or annual maintenance costs would be great information for this project.
