How can I capture one of my pink convict cichlids?

I have a 150 gallon tank full of pink cichlids and I need to capture a few to start sending them to other tanks since they won’t stop reproducing (understandable since that is what convict cichlids do best). It is impossible to net them due to the tank set up–lots of caves, shelters, flower pots, towers etc. I am looking for alternative methods to catch them safely and move them to other tanks with as little stress as possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i use this "net" with all my fish and it is great … check it out

what I like to do is put some brine shrimp in the net and it makes them come easier, any food except live food would do well in that case.

It might be an option to do a water change, and before you do the water change see if you can scoop them out that way.

I mean hey you have to do a water change sooner or later right? (only like 25% or something like that)
But then again 150 gallons is pretty large.
