south american cichllids are about 3000 times more aggressive then african. Oscars and Snakeheads even bichirs will rape african cichlids. i have a 125 gallon south american and african cichlid tank and they mix perfectly well. in general there is no problem with mixing the 2 it depends on the fishes mentallity. and you need a a bigger tank for clown loaches they get giant

They all belong in their own habitat,and then dont even forget to put cichlids from Lake Malwi in their own habitat,that means,rock-dwelling cichlids in a tank for their own,and the cichlids that live just half on the rocks in another habitat,and i don’t even speak from cichlids that live in much deeper water,or further away form the shore,and not at the rocks…

Why would you put a Clown Loach in a South American Cichlid tank when C. Loaches are from Indonesia? I am sure they will get along but it seems you would keep it as natural as possible.
