I found you guys alot of help with my chichlid that i got. He eats chichlid pellets and bloodworm flakes happily now. Thanks. But now i have a different question, what are the best breeding chichlids. I still just have my old 20 with the jouvenile-young adult yellow and gold striped chichlid. I talked to my Best Friend who has 2 beautiful RES (Red Eared Sliders) and is going to get a small indoor plastic pond for them in about a year. he now has a 65 gallon tank for them. So, what kind of chichlids are best for open water breeding conditions. thanks!
oh, and i was possibly thinking about discus for the 65. Would they get along with chichlids?
thanks so much!

The easiest cichlid to breed is convict cichlid.
Here’s a website that tells you everything you need and what to do every step of the way.

Convict cichlid is the easiest breeding cilchlid, and Discus are best to be reared alone, even though they are cichlids too.
