how heavy is the discus you use?
well I would recommend working on keeping the arm as far back as possible, then when you’re at your power position rotate your right foot (if u’re righty) and make your body use that turning force and apply it to the discus, I wouldn’t recommend to much strength training, just wait a couple years for that. Hope this helped
