Can female guppies decides what to give birth to the most of?
February 25th, 2010 | by admin |It seems all I have is females and not any male guppies in that tank of mine, I started off with one male and four female guppies 7 months ago, and so I am wondering if a female guppy can decide which to give the most birth too, no males and more females, Can this happen?
My local fish store told me that the gender of guppies is determined by the temperature of their tank, as baby fry. I am not sure if this is true, but my guppies were almost always females and I think it was because the heat was to high.
