I have some ebstablished live rock in my saltwater aquarium. After a number of treatments to ail our ick issue (cooper, ridding ammonia) my live rock has a red fuzzy coating on it and no longer flourishes with bright green algae. How do I get rid of this red stuff?
If you used copper in your main tank … you live rock isn’t going to be live anymore … here’s a link hope it helps

You can take a toothbrush and use it to brush off the unwanted algae. But the best way is to find the cause of the new algae bloom so that the problem can be fixed. This will kill the algae, and hopefully the return of the other kind.
But its common for blooms of algae to occur here and there. One type will take over, die, and then another will take it’s place. This is true of newer tanks, or ones that have been disturbed with medications, or anything that might upset the water quality (basically, what might be the norm).

you would be better asking a specialist about it rather than on here you may be given the wrong advice and it may kill the rest of the tank by doing so go to the pet store were you get the fish and they will put you in the right direction on how totreat the rock/s
good luck
