How to get rid of brown lotus leafs on live rock in saltwater aquarium?

I have a lot of brown lotus leafs on my live rocks in my saltwater aquarium. And it is continuously spreading over the live rocks. Is there anyway to get rid of this problem?

P.S: My fish don’t eat it unfortunately :(

Thanks :) :):):):)

The lotus you’re encountering is probably sargassum weed. I’ve had it also. It’s VERY fast growing. I had it in a three hundred gallon reef tank and was literally pulling out a five gallon bucketfull every week! It finally disappeared, but only after several months of harvesting it. You need to make sure you get all the little fiberous roots attached to the rock surface.
