    I think he uses tap water because that’s what most people have access to. I bought a water distiller for my kids, tank, and pets.

    dude , u have to put a powerhead and a heater for 3-4 hours at least to achieve to disolve the salt properly! otherwise if u people do what u do , they may harm their corals :S no hard feelings

    Is this to replace water that evaporated in the tank? Is this water to replace water you took out of the tank?
    It is very important to explain which type it is.
    If this is replacing evaporated water, you might not even use salt in your RO/DE water. If you add that water you just mixed in a evaporated tank, you just raised the salinity to a level that will potential hurt something.
