What pound line? 20lb with steel leader, Size hook? Usually the same I use for grouper (5/0). Bait? Usually trash fish that I dont want. Berley? Huh? Also, you need to read better before commenting. I said SHOVELHEAD not SHOVELNOSE. Look it up, SHOVELHEAD is another term for bonnethead sharks.
I live on the ocean, so going out back on low tide and snagging a sand shark or shovelhead is quite easy actually.
