   i’m sorry for the guy and his family, but considering how dangerous the streets of South Africa are nowadays, he was probably safer in the water to start with. at least the GWS did’nt rob and rape him.

   I agree with billythehoople, the shark was in its domain. I feel sorry for the man who lost his life and his family but that is just the way it is. No point in trying to victimise the shark, and I believe S.A. has an industry on bringing sharks to humans by attracting them with bait. Maybe that is not such a good idea. These animals are a necessary link in the food chain.
