Answer by yablocksthetruth
What matters is getting a full spectrum bulb. I only buy bulbs w/ a CRI greater than 91 & Kelvin spectrum between 5,000 & 5,500.

Online ? Stores ? Please answer, i need them for my Red Eared Sliders.

Best answer:

Answer by lovelovelove
Craigslist, Ebay, Petco (they have their $ 1 per gallon sale a few times a year). But you do know, your turtles will need a pond. If you choose to keep them in tanks, one turtle will need AT LEAST a 120 gallon tank since you need about 10 gallons per INCH of turtle and they get to 12 inches. So if you have 2 turtles, you’ll need a 240 gallon tank. Those sizes are not sold in your local petco petsmart and will be quite expensive. Also, I suggest you don’t get the combo because you’ll need to place a heat lamp and UVB light on top of the tank so the hood combo will be quite useless.
