I have a 55 gallon aquarium with filters and heaters and I need to know what else I need for it to make it a saltwater aquarium I know you have to have live rock which I intend on getting and you have to let it cycle for approximately a month but what else is absolutely needed
On a aquarium, were do the intake and outtake part of the filter go when you have a full cover?
Right now I have a 55 gallon aquarium, with a large Marineland, hang on filter. The problem is that I have lets say, a top that was meant for a 35 gallon. I’m planning to buy the whole 55 gallon hood, but I’m wondering, on full hoods were does the intake and out take part of the filter go?

I was planning on getting a 55 gallon aquarium and putting 1 red cap oranda 1 black moor goldfish and one fancy calico goldfish. And reluctantly came to the conclusion I have no room for for such a large aquarium. But I and still love the look of Black Moor goldfish and still like to keep at least two.
