Question by misssassyaz: How to clean aquarium rocks after disease?
Have an aquarium which had ick which coming after buying gold fish from a giant discount retailer binned, they died along with all the fish in the tank. Don’t desire to mention names but it should be easy to figure out. I have emptied and cleaned the tank and accessories with ammonia irrigate and require to know if I can reuse the rocks or should I get new ones. Can the swayed be cleaned and still be ok to use? If so, how do I clean them?I should have mentioned that it is colored gravel.

Just clear them and make sure all the dirts and detergents are off of them. I have done it before with no problems.

I have a lot of brown lotus leafs on my live rocks in my saltwater aquarium. And it is continuously spreading over the live rocks. Is there anyway to get rid of this problem?
P.S: My fish don’t eat it unfortunately
Thanks

I have my two snapping turtles in a 30 gallon aquarium, but I’m getting new aquarium for Christmas and all I have to do is figure out what size I want.
I don’t want to go above 100gallons because they get too expensive. Also because I plan on making them a outdoor enclosure once they get to full adult size.
So any tips on types of tanks, websites, filters, setups, ramps, basking rocks…whatever will be a big help.
