I have never kept saltwater fish before and i need some help.
1. I want to set up a mini saltwater aquarium. It will be about 5 gallons with excellent filtration. What kind of fish could I put in there? I want something that is small (of course) and is cheap and easily found and hardy.
2. How much salt do I need to put in?
3. Could I use just regular aquarium gravel?
4. Can I use regular aquarium plants?
5. Any information i need about saltwater aquariums in general?
6. Any information about the fish you’re recommending?
7. Anything else?
Oh, and I don’t have a lot of money, so don’t recommend anything totally expensive.

My mom and I are planning on setting up our own saltwater aquarium once we get my aunt’s 30 gallon aquarium. How do you suggest we go about this? (we’re fish people but we know nothing about saltwater fish or aquariums)
I have a 10 gallon aquarium that i would like to use as a starter saltwater aquarium for practice for a little bit before i turn my 55 gallon aquarium into saltwater. Does anybody know how to go about this? I know barely nothing. I know that you have to use a hydrometer to measure the salinity. But how would I do it. Whats the best/cheapest salt to get and whats the best starter/easiest cheapest starter saltwater fish to get? Clownfish ?
