he dude, beautiful tank! im just setting up my community tank and ive got 6 harlequin rasbora and a syno! i agree the sand looks so much nicer! get some L number catfish! ill post a vid of my tank when it has more…. life in it!
big fish generally up root plants, foul the water and of course need a bigger tank. Small tank, small fish It’s a pain in the ass enough keeping on top of a planted tank within brainless fish messing up all that hard work…..
@deadmanis89 you can make a CO2 generator, or the compressed air canisters are sold at many LFS. Just be careful with the amount you add. People tend to neglect CO2’s solubility properties if its not all used up.

hey having so many plants in your tank, any special tips to look after them?
or is it the basic turn lights on for 4 hours a day and water change every week or two?

why is it that planted tanks seem to always have small fish in them, no bigger ones? Im thinking about this setup, butt just wondered….

Big fish will up root the plants. any Gold fish will. Also lots of south american fish will also like piranhas etc

CO2 + H2O –> H2CO3
H2CO3 —> HCO3 + (H+)
HCO3 –> CO3 + (H+)
