Here is my tropical fish aquarium. This has lots in it, plecs, angels, crabs, frog, loaches, sharks, congos, alsorts. Of course tho most went into hiding when the camera came out.

its a plec, they eat algae (microscopic plants) from the tank but put a cucumber into the tank they love it

Cool tank im thinking of getting one – cant decide on a coldwater or tropical

@poppitpirate Go for tropical much cleaner fish and there more choice in tropical.
the white gravel
im trying to choose a gravel that would best reflect the ocean because i have a tropical tank so i thought of white
but im concerned that in a short period of time the white gravel will go pale or dull and look horrible so im not sure what to choose
go for tropical much more variety

Check out Marbled Crayfish for a very interesting Freshwater Crayfish which CLONES ITSELF! Makes great pets and great feeders for cichlids and other fishes in you aquarium!

how long did it take your pleco to get that big. ive had 1 for about 4 months and he is only roughly 3 to 3.5 inches long. he is in a 55 gallon tank and gets plenty to eat
